You’ll meet with our surgical team to review your medical background and discuss pre-sedation instructions. You’ll need to fast prior to your appointment and arrange for someone to drive you home afterward.
Once the IV sedation begins, you’ll enter a calm, sleep-like state. You’ll remain safely monitored throughout the procedure by our experienced team. Although you’re not fully asleep, you won’t feel pain or remember much of the treatment.
You may feel a bit groggy afterward, and we’ll provide detailed post-operative care instructions. Most patients rest for the remainder of the day and are back to feeling like themselves by the following morning.
